The Woodland
The owner sells distinctive garden furniture made from elm & other trees.
The 15 acre woods to the rear of property are completely private and for the use of our guests and their visitors only. There is a great variety of terrain, a hard wide road with leaky trees and wild flowers, rustic steps leading on to a mown area, a ruin, rides cut through a meadow with all sorts of grasses and orchids, wild strawberries, raspberries, gooseberries and brambles. A couple of rustic bridges over a stream which runs through ancient woodland, the remains of a sandstone quarry, also bluebells in spring. Deer, badgers, buzzards, owls & much more.
Care must be taken at all times as there a couple of places where the water is deep.
Children really need to be accompanied if leaving the garden.
